The Spirit of God

Jay and Tim begin this season’s conversation of the Spirit by covering verses that show the Spirit being the creative power of God with a moral emphasis. An understanding which brings us to the conscience reality that our Creator is ever present.

Key Verse:

Genesis 1:1-2  “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

The Memorial Name Yahweh

We feel like we are standing on holy ground in this episode. Frank Abel and Tim Young discuss the revelation of God’s name of Yahweh before Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3. What does this name mean and what does it tell us about God? This continues our studies about God and how he manifests himself.

God Spoke…

The basis of all our studies is that the Bible is the Word of God. What does it mean that the Bible is inspired by God? What does the Bible say for itself on this question? Jay Mayock joins Tim Young to begin this three-part series on the inspiration of God. In this first part, we’ll see how God spoke through angels, prophets and the Lord Jesus Christ.
